OTG vs CAN T20 Prediction & Betting Tips, Super Smash 2020
After thrashing Auckland in their previous match, Otago will look to continue their winning run as they take on Canterbury in the 4th match of the Big Bash League. The match will be played on 29th December and is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM local time.
Otago will be playing their second game in two days and will be very confident, especially after the way their performed against Auckland.
The batting for Otago was exceptional in the last game, something we can expect from them for this match as well. Hemish Rutherfort, Neil Broom, Nick Kelly batted well but it was the scintillating show from Llew Johnson that helped them reach a massive 219.
In the bowling department, Jacob Duffy, Matthew Bacon, Anaru Kitchen were terrific in the last game. Yes, Mitchel McClenaghan was expensive but we expect him to perform better in the next game. Overall, Otago look a very strong team and they certainly are the team to beat of the tournament.
Canterbury had a disappointing last season and they’ll hope to deliver show this time around.
They have a decent batting in Chad Brown, Jack Boyle, Leo Carter, Cole McConchie and Cam Fletcher while Andrew Ellis, Henry Shipley, Todd Astle, Will Williams and ED Nuttall will take Canterbury’s charge with the ball. Looking at their team they do have some quality in their squad but Otago at the moment are looking very strong in comparison to Canterbury

The wicket is a belter with lots of runs for the batsmen. Bowlers will have a hard time here.
Weather Report
It’ll be a cold day but thankfully rain is not expected to play the spoilsport.

Canterburry has announced their 13 man squad to take on Otago on 29th December. The core of the team is pretty much the same that played the last season but the addition of New Zealand superstar Matt Henry for Super Smash 2020-21 will be a big boost for the team.
