Worcestershire Rapids were one point away from finishing in the top four last year and began their 2022 campaign with a 7 wicket defeat against Yorkshire Vikings at Headingley on Wednesday evening. Rapids captain, Ben Cox, won the toss and chose to bat first and it was Jack Haynes who top scored with five sixes in his 33-ball 61. Brett D’Oliveira and Charlie Morris were the most impressive bowlers for the Rapids and picked up a wicket each whilst keeping their economy rates under 7. Colin Munro, Moeen Ali and Dwayne Bravo are all unavailable for this match.
