This is going to be the first appearance for Nottinghamshire and the second consecutive appearance for Northamptonshire in the semis since 2014. Their batting is going to depend mainly on Rossington and Duckett at the top while skipper Wakely will be the key batsman in the middle-order. Rossington played a match-winning knock of 67 runs in the quarter-final and Wakely has scored two fifties in his last four innings. Duckett has been the most consistent of all and he could be the top-scorer for his side. Northamptonshire will be counting on these three to take them to 150 and beyond.
They might not be too comfortable against Gurney and Mullaney who have been Nottinghamshire's best bowlers in their pace attack. Gurney has taken the most wickets for them while Mullaney has troubled Northamptonshire before in their group game. Samit Patel has also been equally impressive with four wickets in the quarter-final and 16 wickets overall. If these three are backed by a good performance from Tahir, it won't be easy for Northamptonshire to touch the 150-mark.
