Northamptonshire vs Leicestershire Prediction

Mark Pettini and skipper Mark Cosgrove will be the opening batsmen for Leicestershire. The latter has scored the most runs for his side this year, and he could be the top-scorer against Northamptonshire. Umar Akmal has a fifty in the first match and his wicket is going to be vital for either side. Most of the work with the bat will have to be done by Cosgrove, Akmal and O'Brien.

Clint McKay and Ben Raine will lead the bowling attack for Leicestershire. Raine has been their most successful bowler with nine wickets this season and he will be backed by the team to take the most wickets. Seamers Kevin O'Brien and Neil Dexter have five wickets each, and the Northamptonshire batsmen might have a few problems while facing them.

Northamptonshire Steelbacks and Leicestershire Foxes will be going head-to-head for the first time in this year's Natwest T20 Blast. There have been two completed games at Northampton between the two sides and Northamptonshire have wins in both of them. Moreover, they have won more games than Leicestershire this year and are way above them on the points table.

Though Leicestershire Foxes have what it takes to win games, they just haven't been able to perform together as a unit and so we're backing the Northamptonshire Steelbacks to win this match.
