After recording their first win of the tournament at the end of day three, Nicosia XI Fighters face a much tougher match when they take on Riyaan CC in the second match of the fourth day. Nicosia XI Fighters defended 90/4 to beat Sri Lankan Lions Limassol by 13 runs in their most recent match but they have otherwise struggled with the ball. That includes conceding 168/4 to an Atta Ullah-inspired Riyaan when they last met, on their way to an 88-run defeat.

That was one of three wins for Riyaan across the first two days, but they return to action at the start of day four against the only team to have beaten them so far – Nicosia Tigers. They followed up that loss by thrashing Riyaan, however, and will be hoping for similar in this game too.
