It will be a good test for both teams to test their skills. Netherlands lost to Scotland by 32 runs in the last game as they were bowled out for 90. Against Oman as well, the batters will face a stern challenge as the conditions won’t be favourable for them. However, still they have few good players in Pieter Seelar, Bas de Leede, Colin AKremann and Paul van Meekeran who can help them get to a decent score. The bowling also looks good in Logan van Beek, Fred Klaasen among others but the conditions might not be feasible for fast bowling which is a disadvantage to Netherlands.
Oman, on the other hand, have enjoyed a lot of success of late. They are well used to the conditions and will start as favourites, They defeated Namibia by 32 runs in the last game. While the batting did not do much against Namibia, the bowlers, led by Kaleem Ullah's 4 wicket haul, helped them restrict Namibia to 120/9. Oman cannot afford to have a bad day with the bat as the Netherlands are well equipped in the batting department to hunt down anything less than 150 with ease.
