The bottom two teams in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup face each other at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, when Minister Group Rajshahi take on Fortune Barishal. The match takes place on December 8 and the live action starts at 13:30 local time.
Fortune Barishal won when the teams last met, with Tamim Iqbal starring with an unbeaten 77* from 61 balls. That five-wicket victory, chasing 133 to win, is their only one so far, however. They have lost their other four matches and scores of 108/8 and 125 in their last two matches highlight their problems.
Minister Group Rajshahi have won two of their six games by contrast, but they have failed to win since their last meeting with Barishal – a run of four consecutive losses. Minister Group Rajshahi were in good form until they last met Fortune Barishal but have lost four in a row since. This a good chance to get back on track, however – though out of form, they have looked better in their recent defeats than Barishal have.
