20 year old right arm medium fast bowler Toby Greatwood was left out of the team ahead of the defeat to Hampshire Hawks with the experienced Toby Roland-Jones returning to the side. Roland-Jones, who does have a poor injury record, should be fine as he only bowled two overs against the Hawks.

Surrey registered another comprehensive victory on Wednesday and immediately put the disappointments of Sunday’s no result against Glamorgan behind them.
