Melbourne Stars is by far the best team of the tournament. They’re yet to be defeated and are almost certain to make it through to the playoffs. Elyse Villani, Meg Lanning, Mignon du Preez form a solid top order that has been very consistent. However,  Stars wouldn’t mind some runs from Annabel Sutherland, Anna Lanning and Katherin Brunt. Melbourne Renegades were thrashed by Perth Scorchers in their last match but that’s not much of a surprise.Apart from an upset win over Sydney Thunder, they’ve failed to make a mark in the tournament. Sophie Molinuex have got some runs for them but others have been a big led down. Same goes with their bowling where Sophie Molinuex has been their lone warrior. Not much can be expected from them against Melbourne Stars
