MLS vs MLR Prediction & Betting tips, BBL 2020-21
Melbourne Stars had a very good team but things were not quite going their way. However, their last match against Adelaide Strikers showed what they’re capable off.
The tournament is still wide open with as many as 4 teams tied on 20 points. The second best i.e Sydney Thunder has 23 points so if we see 6 teams are competing for the last three spots in the points table.
Every game from now is of utmost importance and Melbourne Stars will be very happy to play the weakest team of the tournament. However, Melbourne Renegades have shown that they’re capable of pulling off few upsets.
Read our preview as Melbourne Stars hosts Melbourne Renegades in 42nd match of the Big Bash League. The match will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and is set to get underway at 7:15 PM local time.
Melbourne Stars had a near perfect game against Adelaide Strikers as they decimated them by 111 runs. This is a kind of performance we expect from the Stars. They always looked a very dangerous team but somehow they weren’t able to live up to the expectation.
This win will certainly induce a lot of confidence in the Stars camp. They’ll be very happy to see some runs from Andre Fletcher. He was very disappointing in the tournament till now but since he’s got himself a big score, he can be expected to bat well in the upcoming games.
Glenn Maxwell too played well after a series of failures. Marcus Stoinis, Hilton Cartwright, Nic Maddinson, Nic Larkin forms a very strong batting order. If stars can get a good start, they’re a very dangerous side.
In the bowling department, Adam Zampa picked up a 5-fer. Zahir Khan and Glenn Maxwell got 2 wickets each. The pitch will aid the spinners and Stars have 3 of them which gives them an upper hand over the Renegades.
The tournament has been a nightmare for Melbourne Renegades. They tried opening with Finch, they tried him at 3 and now pushed him to No 4, but nothing seems to be working for them.
Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh are their to best batsmen and once they get out cheaply, Renegades will be in trouble.
To be fair, the batting looks very weak and we expect them to struggle against the Stars. As a bowling unit, the Renegades have fared much better but if they can’t get runs, they won’t win.
Overall, Melbourne Stars are a much better side than the Renegades and we expect them to win in the next game.
