MLR vs MLS Prediction & Betting Tips, BBL 2020-21
Melbourne Renegades suffered a big loss to Melbourne Stars in their previous match. It wasn’t much of a surprise though as the Renegades have been very poor throughout the tournament. With them out of contention for the playoffs, they’ll be looking to play some fearless cricket.
Not much is at stake for the Renegades but for the Stars it’s a very crucial game. Can they make it two in two against the Renegades? Read our Preview and Melbourne Renegades take on Melbourne Stars in the 45th match of the Big Bash League. The match will be played at the Docklands Stadium and is set to get underway at 7:15 PM local time.
Well, there is not much to say about the performance of Melbourne Renegades. They’ve been very disappointing throughout the tournament and deserve all the criticism they’re getting.
The batting has been a big, big let down. If we leave out Shaun Marsh, we won’t find a single batsmen that has performed on a consistent basis.
There have been few odd innings from Sam Harper, Beau Webster but they were never going to be sufficient. Aaron Finch himself has been a massive failure.
They just don’t seem to have enough quality in their batting department. Once Finch and Marsh are gone cheaply, they’ll struggle and that’s what has happened in the tournament.
The bowling has been doing ok but they’ve always been short of plenty of runs. So Renegades, if they want to pick up few consolation wins, they’ll need their batsmen to fire.
Melbourne Stars in the last few games seem to have found their mojo back. They’re coming back from two big wins and looks good to make it three in three.
Their batting was an issue in the initial stages but now, with Nick Larkin, Nic Maddinson, Hilton Cartwright and Andre Fletcher also scoring runs, they look a very dangerous batting unit. Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis have been in fine form throughout the tournament.
Stars are a spin heavy team and Azam Zampa, Zahir Khan and Glenn Maxwell are chocking the opposition with some tight bowling. Liam Hatcher and Billy Stanlake have been very good too.
All in all, Stars is a far better team than the Renegades and are expected to continue their winning run.

π Melbourne Renegades vs Melbourne Stars Prediction
With players like Nic Larkin, Hilton Cartwright, Andre Fletcher also starting to score runs, they look a real force now. Maxwell and Stoinis are already in top form. As a bowling unit, Zampa and Zahir Khan has been a nemesis for their oppositions.
For Renegades, their batting has been a big let down. They don’t seem have enough quality in their team and we think that they’ll once again struggle against the Stars
