  • Brisbane Heat have a better batting line up. Players like Chris Lynn and Marnus Labuschagne gives them a definite advantage.
  • Melbourne Renegades depend a lot on Shaun Marsh and Aaron Finch. Marsh has not been at his best in the last few games while Finch is having a horrible tournament with the bat.
  • The bowling line up for Brisbane Heat is more suited to this pitch than Melbourne Renegades.

Chance of Winning

Our Prediction

Brisbane Heat are favorites to win

MLR vs BRH Prediction & Betting Tips, BBL 2020-21

Melbourne Renegades will take on Brisbane Heat in the 49th match of the Big Bash League. The match will be played at the Docklands Stadium and is set to begin at 4:05 PM local time.

An inspired bowling performances from the Renegades helped them pull off a big upset against Melbourne Stars in the previous game.

Renegades restricted Stars to a manageable 158 before chasing it down in the last over.

Even though they won the match, we don’t think they batted well. It was only the heroics from Mackenzie Harvey that helped them cross the line.

As we said earlier, such performances can win you one or two matches but won’t be good enough to help you perform consistently.

Finch and Marsh again got out cheaply. Sam Haper and McGruk failed to convert their starts into decent scores. This has been the story of the whole season. No wonder they’re struggling at the bottom of the points table.

Against Heat, if they want to win the game, they need to rectify their issues in their batting. Runs from the top order are must.

Brisbane Heat have been bowled out under 20 overs in their last two games which will be cause of concern. This is a team that heavily depends upon Chris Lynn and if he fails, they’re bound to struggle.

Players like Joe Denly, Joe Burns, Max Bryant and Jimmy Pierson need to step up to the occasion now. Marnus Labuschagne is a player that can hold one end and other players can revolve around him.

The bowling was off colour in the previous match but generically they’ve been pretty good. Xavier Bartlett, Mark Steketee, Mitch Swepson, Jack Wildermuth, Morne Morkel forms a quality bowling attack.

The batting for both teams is an issues but Heats have a much more stable batting line up and we think they should be good enough to beat Renegades tomorrow.

MLR vs BRH Dream11 Prediction

  • Wicket Keeper

Sam Harper at 8.5 is good picks. He’s played really well in the last two matches

  • Batsmen

Chris Lynn at 10.5, Aaron Finch at 10.0, Shaun Marsh at 9.5, Joe Burns at 9.0 and Marnus Labuschagne at 8.5 will form our batting order. Lynn has been in top form and is the leading run scorer for the Heat. Same can be said about Shaun Marsh who’s been very good for the Renegades.  Labuschagne is a batsmen that can anchor the innings and play a steady knock while Burns has played few good innings. We’ve picked Finch as our X factor. He’s a match winner on his day and we think that a big inning is just around the corner

  • All rounder

Jack Wildermuth at 9.0 and Imad Wasim at 8.5 will be our all rounders. Both have fared decently for their respective teams.

  • Bowlers

Mark Steketee at 9.0, Peter Hatzoglou at 8.5 and Zak Evans at 8.0 will comple our team. Steketee has been top class for the Heats while Evans and Hatzoglou had a decent last game.

  • Captain /Vice Captain

Chris Lynn is our preferred captain while Shaun Marsh can be backed as his deputy
