Both the teams have made disappointing starts to their campaigns; Lancashire Thunder have played three matches so far and have suffered defeats in each of those and are currently placed fifth on the points table while Yorkshire Diamonds, who have lost both their matches, are lying at the bottom. Emma Lamb and Sophie Ecclestone removed both the openers early on last time and the team will want them to do the early damage again against Yorkshire Diamonds.
