Lahore Qalandars vs Multan Sultans Match Prediction, PSL 2020
Having both missed out on the play-offs last season, Lahore Qalandars know a win against Multan Sultans will guarantee their place in the semi-finals with the table-toppers. Their final group game takes place on March 15 at the Gaddafi Stadium, with the live action scheduled to start at 14:00 local time.
The Sultans have won six of their seven completed games and are already guaranteed to finish first after an excellent campaign. Sohail Tanvir took 3-26 as they defended 154/6 to beat Peshawar Zalmi by three runs in a thriller last time out.
Lahore Qalandars go into this match on the back of a defeat to Karachi Kings, however – they suffered a heavy ten-wicket defeat despite having posted 150/5. They now need a win to guarantee their own semi-final spot.

Lahore Qalandars Team News & Playing 11
LHQ Team News
Lahore Qalandars have not been affected by players departing – the only team without anybody having left early. Haris Raaf and Chris Lynn have both returned lately and, despite defeat last time out, they may stick with the same team.
LHQ Key Players
Ben Dunk: Out cheap last time out and that was a game changer, considering the speed at which he has scored and the two 90+ innings he has produced on his way to 266 runs.
Sohail Akhtar: Moved up the order to open and has produced two scores of 68 against the Karachi Kings. He also hit 34* when these teams last met.
Samit Patel: Scored runs down the order and bowled some useful overs with the ball too, to prove his all-round quality.
LHQ Team Form
Lahore Qalandars were on a three-game winning streak before their ten-wicket defeat to Karachi Kings last time out. They beat Quetta Gladiators twice – once thanks to an excellent bowling effort and Samit Patel’s 4-5 from four overs – and once following a chase of 188 to win. In between, they beat the Kings as Ben Dunk led them to 190/2 by hitting 99* from 40 balls.
Last time out, however, they were unable to pick up a wicket as the Kings earned revenge – rendering Sohail Akhtar’s half-century in vain as they chased 151 to win in just 17.1 overs.
Lahore Qalandars Predicted Playing 11

Multan Sultans Team News & Playing 11
MS Team News
Multan Sultans have lost in-form overseas batting duo Rilee Rossouw and James Vince, who are among the players to have left the tournament due to coronavirus fears. Without them, Pakistan Under-19 international Rohail Nazir and English all-rounder Ravi Bopara both came into the team last time out. Mohammad Irfan returned in place of Junaid Khan, meanwhile. Bopara and Moeen Ali are two of the English players to have elected against an early return.
MS Key Players
Imran Tahir: Starred with the ball when these teams last met and he has taken ten wickets in total in this year’s PSL.
Sohail Tanvir: Not only were his figures of 3-26 vital to the Sultans’ win last time out, but he also passed 350 wickets in T20 cricket in the process.
Zeeshan Ashraf: His half-century last time out was his second of the tournament and the importance of his batting has increased with Rossouw and Vince no longer available.
MS Team Form
Multan Sultans have won their last five completed matches. That includes a rain-reduced nine-over game against Islamabad United, in which James Vince scored 61* from 24 balls to lead them to a dominant nine-wicket win.
Last time out, things were much closer. Zeeshan Ashraf’s half-century helped them to 154/6 against Peshawar Zalmi, before Sohail Tanvir took 3-26. They won by just three runs in the end, however.

Lahore Qalandars vs Multan Sultans Prediction
Multan Sultans have been in excellent form this season and can head into the semi-finals on the back of a win too.
Back Multan Sultans to beat Lahore Qalandars at 1.80 with Bet365 and 1.87 with Betway.
Ben Dunk is in excellent batting form, even if he did fall short last time out, while Zeeshan Ashraf is good value at eight credits having hit his second half-century last time out.
Chris Lynn’s continued availability is a boost for Lahore Qalandars, while Sohail Akhtar has found some good batting form. For Multan Sultans, without Rilee Rossouw and James Vince, Shan Masood – who has 323 points so far – will need to step up.
There is still plenty of choice when it comes to the all-rounders. Samit Patel is in good batting and bowling form and has 475 points so far, while Moeen Ali has racked up 369 and Mohammad Hafeez has 398. All three are worth selecting, though Shahid Afridi and David Wiese are top-quality alternatives.
Haris Rauf has not delivered his best form so far, so Shaheen Afridi, Sohail Tanvir and Imran Tahir could be a better bowling trio. All three of those have picked up wickets and bowled some key spells so far.
Samit Patel has been in good all-round form and, even though he fell short last time out, he could be a good pick for at least vice-captain. Sohail Tanvir was back in the wickets, meanwhile, and his three wickets last time out makes him a tempting choice for captain or vice-captain too.
