Leicestershire vs Nottinghamshire Prediction

Riki Wessels has hit three fifties so far this season, the most recent one being scored in the last match against Worcestershire where he blasted a 35-ball 80. The opener has been the most consistent batsman for Nottinghamshire, making him a worthy top-batsman bet. Their captain Daniel Christian seems to be going through a decent form while Greg Smith also batted well in the last match.

Steven Mullaney has taken five wickets in the last two matches and he is going to be the pacer to watch out for. Harry Gurney has been picking up wickets consistently, including a brilliant four-for against Derbyshire. Samit Patel, with 10 wickets in the tournament, is Nottinghamshire's leading wicket-taker. If these three put up a good show with the ball on Tuesday, Leicestershire could find themselves in a spot of bother.

Our Prediction

Nottinghamshire Outlaws have two wins in the three completed games that they have played against Leicestershire Foxes since the inception of the Natwest T20 Blast. Both these wins came back in 2014 which includes a win in the only game to be played between them at Leicester. So although the Foxes will be more familiar with the conditions, the fact that they were beaten at this ground by the Outlaws could play on the back of their mind. Also, while Leicestershire are still struggling to perform as a team this year, Nottinghamshire's batting has been really good and they will be going into this game on the back of five successive wins.

Leicestershire Foxes have been inconsistent this season, but they can still make it to the playoffs by virtue of some decent performances ahead. We, however, predict Nottinghamshire Outlaws to win this match and maintain their winning streak.
