KXIP vs RR Prediction
Kings XI Punjab had started off well this year but have just begun to lose their way a little bit. After a heartbreaking loss against the Mumbai Indians, they received a thrashing at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last game. They do have the home advantage in their favor though and they even beat Rajasthan Royals at this venue last year. However, their bowling is not looking quite up to the mark at the moment and their batting seems to be heavily reliant on Chris Gayle and Lokesh Rahul.
Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, are coming off a win against the Mumbai Indians and have gained momentum which is so crucial in the T20 format. And unlike the hosts, they have more quality and experience in their middle-order batting. Plus, the likes of Shreyas Gopal, Jofra Archer and Dhawal Kulkarni have done a fine job with the ball in the past few games. The Royals will be hungry for two more points and we expect them to improve their position in the league standings.
