Knights vs Cape Cobras, CSA T20 Challenge
After two defeats from two each, to the same two opponents, Knights and Cape Cobras meet each other in the 2021 CSA T20 Challenge as they bid to end their poor starts to the tournament. The two teams meet at Durban’s Kingsmead Cricket Ground on February 22 and the live action starts at 10:00 local time.
Knights folded for just 116 in their opening loss to Titans and then failed to defend 144/5 in a four-wicket loss to Dolphins last time out. One big positive at least, however, was the fact Pite van Biljon hammered 72* from 54 balls in the Knights innings.
Siyabonga Mahima took a hat-trick on his way to 4-18 when Cape Cobras met Dolphins first up, but – chasing 156 to win – the Cobras only managed 141/7 in a 14-run loss. Last time out, meanwhile, George Linde’s all-round performance was their highlight in an otherwise disappointing 16-run defeat to Titans.

Mbulelo Budaza sat out of the match last time out, with Wandile Makwetu replacing him and taking the wicket-keeper’s gloves from Andries Gous as a result. Knights need more runs up the order and could tweak the batting line-up.
KNG Key Players
- Pite van Biljon: Hammered four sixes on his way to the 72* from 54 balls that underpinned the Knights’ innings last time out.
- Jacques Snyman: After not taking his chance for South Africa against Pakistan, the opener needs to end his poor run of batting form if he is to get into T20 World Cup consideration.
- Migael Pretorius: Took 3-26 and 1-26 in the first two games, as well as hitting 38* from 23 balls with the bat last time out to lift Knights to a respectable score.

COB Team News
Personnel-wise, Cape Cobras have been unchanged so far but they may look to make some changes after their two losses that extend beyond just swapping the batting order around. - George Linde: The spin-bowling all-rounder took 2-23 and hit 37 with the bat last time out to prove his importance with ball and bat.
- Tony de Zorzi: Until Malan returns, he must hold the fort at the top of the batting order, and he has scored 39 and 23 in his two matches so far.
