Their batting has been great so far and with a little more effort in the bowling department, they can stage a dramatic comeback.
Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiers have been going great guns for the RCB. But their early dismissals will put an enormous pressure on the batsmen to follow and will tilt the match in KXIP's favor. Bowling is an area RCB needs to work on. Mitchell Starc's injury will further deplete the attack but the inclusion of Chris Jordan as his replacement should make up for this besides adding some more depth in the batting.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have a lot of talent in their side and if they can just utilize their full potential, they can be a really tough team to beat. Unfortunately, this hasn't been the case. Kohli and de Villiers are in top batting form, but the rest of the batsmen will also have to step up. If KXIP manages to run through their top-order early on in the innings, it might get hard for Watson and co. to post a healthy total.
Kings XI Punjab too have issues of their own with Maxwell and Miller giving underwhelming performances. Though did have just one win in their first six games, but now under the leadership of Murali Vijay, they have won two of their last three games. Taking into account the winning momentum paired with the advantage of playing in their home ground, the KXIP will have a slight edge over the RCB tonight.
