Kent are favorites to win
After getting back to winning ways last time out, Kent Spitfires will look to take a step closer to the quarter-finals with a win against Middlesex in the South Group of the 2020 Vitality T20 Blast. The match takes place at the St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury, on September 16 and the live action starts at 14:00 local time.
Kent are joint-top of the South Group, after bouncing back from a defeat to Sussex Sharks to move back above them when they beat Hampshire last time out. In-form England batsman Zak Crawley was their key man as he hit an unbeaten century to dominate a chase of 183 – the Spitfires winning by eight wickets with 2.5 overs to spare.
Middlesex, meanwhile, suffered their second heavy London Derby defeat last time out – conceding 218/5 in a 30-run defeat to Surrey. Steven Eskinazi is in excellent batting form but he is fighting a lonely battle for the most part this season.

Zak Crawley fired Kent Spitfires back to winning ways last time out and with four wins from six completed matches so far – and just one defeat – they have proved themselves among the top teams in the group. Rivals for top spot Surrey, who have an identical record so far, thrashed Middlesex last time so Kent need to do the same.
