 Once again, the South African batting was too hot to handle for the Indians. Lizelle Lee and Laura Wolvaardt carried on their good form and stroked half centuries as the visitors trounces India by 6 wickets. The South African batting looks very strong. It’ll be a challenge for the Indian bowlers to restrict their batting.

Talking about India, they did bat slightly better in the second T20I but couldn’t post a strong total. Smrithi Mandhana once again failed to make a mark but Shafali Verma got India off to a stable start. At 87-1 in 11 overs, India were eyeing a big score but lack of power hitters in the team meant that they had to settle for 158, at least 30 short of what they would have expected. 

We don’t think that much will change in the third T20I as well as South Africa at the moment look too good to be beaten.
