With Guptill, Taylor and the middle order struggling for runs, the Kiwis will once again be overly dependent on Latham and their skipper Williamson to take them to the predicted total. We expect either of them to top-score for New Zealand in this match.

Martin Guptill and Ross Taylor have not been able to get going on this tour and both will be batting under enormous pressure. India's opening bowlers Yadav, Pandya and Bumrah will be aware of this and will look to pick them up early on. Amit Mishra has executed his legspin to great effect and has taken three wickets in each game. He notched up the big scalps of Williamson, Taylor and Anderson in the last match and we predict him to be the top bowler for India.

They will take a lot of confidence from this performance and will look to build from here onwards. India, on the other hand, will have concerns of their own after their disappointing show with the bat. It was their top order who had been doing most of the work until now and the lack of exposure in the middle order was exposed by the Kiwis.

New Zealand have never met India in an ODI at this ground but they have played Pakistan twice and once against Australia. They won both the games against Pakistan but lost to Australia in their most recent match here.

Though New Zealand managed to sneak in a win in the last game, we feel India still seems to be the better side and therefore predict them to win this third one-day international.
