Who will win India vs South Africa, 3rd T20?
The third and final match of their T20i series sees India and South Africa face-off in Bangalore at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. The match takes place on September 22 and the live action starts at 19:00.
India won the second game of the series, after the first was rained off, to ensure South Africa can not win this series. They had previously won their last five bilateral series in the format. Virat Kohli top-scored in a match in which both captains – Kohli and Quinton de Kock – scored half-centuries.
South Africa handed T20i debuts to three debutants and had De Kock in charge of the 20-over team for the first time. With a less experienced squad – with one eye on next summer’s World T20 – they are outsiders for this match too.

IND vs SA Toss Prediction
India have won the toss in each of their last four T20i matches so this is surely the one they lost it. If so, South Africa will be keen to field first at Bangalore.
IND vs SA Weather Report
It could be another frustrating, weather-hit day on Sunday – a thunderstorm is due to hit Bangalore in the evening and there is a high chance of rain into the night. Prospects of play look slim.
IND vs SA Pitch Condition
The M.Chinnaswamy Stadium pitch turns, as most pitches do in these parts, and in ordinary circumstances you would expect a grippy wicket. There is a lot of rain forecast, however, which could impact pitch preparation.

India Team News & Playing 11
IND Team News
Hardik Pandya returned to the team last time out for IND vs SA 2019, having been rested for the tour of the USA and West Indies. Among the players not used were Manish Pandey and Khaleel Ahmed and India may look to rotate their team as they give game time to players ahead of the T20 World Cup.
IND Key Players
Virat Kohli: His unbeaten 72 from 52 balls, which guided India to victory in the last match, took his T20i average back above 50.
Rishabh Pant: Handed a good run in the team behind the stumps and will want to take advantage with a big score in this game after falling short last time out.
Hardik Pandya: Did not bat on his return to the team last time out, but he did bowl and take a wicket. The all-rounder was in incredible batting form at the IPL and picked up wickets too to prove himself as one of the country’s best T20 stars.
IND Team Form
India have now won their last four consecutive T20i matches, following up their whitewash of the West Indies by winning against South Africa last time out. Deepak Chahar was the pick of their bowlers, taking 2-22 to help limit the Proteas to 149/5. In reply, Virat Kohli (72*) and Shikhar Dhawan (40) ensured India made light work of the chase – sealing a seven-wicket win with an over to spare.
India Predicted Playing 11
Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli (c), Rishabh Pant (wk), Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, Khaleel Ahmed
South Africa Team News & Playing 11
SA Team News
South Africa handed T20i debuts to all three of Temba Bavuma, Bjorn Fortuin and Anrich Nortje last time out. George Linde could now be added to the list, after replacing JJ Smuts in the squad. Quinton de Kock is captaining the team – leading them in a T20i for the first time in the last game.
SA Key Players
Quinton de Kock: The captain led from the front last time out, hitting 52 from 37 balls at the top of the order. It continues his good run of form in India, having previously helped the Mumbai Indians to IPL victory by being one of the tournament’s top scorers.
Rassie van der Dussen: Lasted just two balls last time out, but the vice-captain has made his mark on T20 cricket in the last 18 months and it will surely only be a temporary blip as he looks to get straight back to his best.
Kagiso Rabada: No wickets last time out, but he did bowl 11 dot balls in the three overs he sent down. He was another of the South African stars to make a huge impact on the IPL earlier this year.
SA Team Form
This will be the first T20i series South Africa have not won in their last five. They came into this tour on the back of four series wins in the format, but a rained off first game and defeat in the second means the most they can now hope for is a draw. Quinton de Kock (52) and Temba Bavuma (49) were the stand-out batsmen in a total of 149/5, but that proved below par as the Proteas suffered a seven-wicket defeat.
South Africa Predicted Playing 11
Quinton de Kock (c, wk), Reeza Hendricks, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Dwaine Pretorius, Temba Bavuma, Andile Phehlukwayo, George Linde, Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi, Anrich Nortje

The captain top-scored with 72* from 52 balls as India chased 150 to win by seven wickets with an over to spare.
