Bangladesh, having lost to Pakistan and Australia, are right at the bottom of the points table. India lost their opening game to New Zealand and are now back on track with a win over Pakistan. The hosts are currently positioned fourth, one spot above Bangladesh. The two Group 2 teams will face each other in the 25th match of the ICC World Twenty20 2016 on March 23. The match will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore and live action is scheduled to commence at 7:30 PM local time. While India will look for a win by as big a margin as possible to improve their net run-rate, Bangladesh have little to lose and will try its best to spoil India's chances of a semi-final berth.

Their reputation of playing well against spin could be in danger. All the batsmen struggled against an inexperienced Kiwi spin attack in their first match. Another cause of concern is that their opening combination of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan have now failed twice in the tournament. Suresh Raina's score of 1 and 0 also doesn't instill much confidence in their batting. They have been relying far too much on Virat Kohli and captain Ms Dhoni to take them out of trouble. Scoring an unbeaten 55, Kohli was instrumental in India's victory over Pakistan and his current form has earned him high betting odds on almost all the popular betting websites.

Their star batsman Tamim Iqbal is suffering from illness and is doubtful for the upcoming match against India. Shakib Al Hasan has batted really well so far, scoring an unbeaten 50 and 33 under pressure. Considering his current form, it should be safe to go with him as far as wagering money is concerned. Mahmudullah is a powerful hitter down the order and his 49 off 29 on Monday propelled Bangladesh to a respectable total.
Shakib Al Hasan was equally impressive with the ball against Australia, taking three wickets for just 27 runs in four overs. Mustafizur Rahman made a good comeback to the side with two wickets. However, Al-Amin Hossain is their strike bowler and despite being wicketless in the first two games, he is expected to cause maximum damage to the Indian batting line-up.

Bangladesh have players in their squad that are capable of winning matches on their own. They will also draw confidence from the fact that they have beaten India on quite a few occasions. They did well in the Asia Cup to reach the finals and have even stretched teams like South Africa in the past.
But World Cup is a different ball-game altogether, be it a 20-over or a 50-over version. The pressure of a World Cup game is always going to be enormous and the top-ranked teams are better at soaking this pressure. India, despite losing miserably in their first game, are still a stronger team than Bangladesh and are currently the No. 1 T20 side in the world. Also, the advantage of playing at home will definitely be there which makes India the clear favorites to win the match.
