India will look to complete a comeback victory when they take on Bangladesh in the third and final match of their T20i series. The match takes place on November 10 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association, Nagpur, and the live action starts at 19:00 local time.
Bangladesh claimed their first ever T20i win against India in the opening game of this series, as Mushfiqur Rahim led a chase of 149 to win by seven wickets. He hit 60*, as the Tigers proved there is life beyond suspended captain (and star all-rounder) Shakib Al Hasan.
India stormed back last time out, however, as stand-in captain Rohit Sharma marked his 100th game in style – smashing 85 from 43 balls to lead a chase of 154 to win by eight wickets in just 15.4 overs.

India Team News & Playing 11
IND Team News
India have been unchanged for the two matches so far and the hosts could stick with the same 11 again for the series decider.
IND Key Players
Rohit Sharma: Marked his 100th T20 international with his 18th half-century in the format – smashing 85 from 43 balls. His 2,537 runs also include four centuries.
Shikhar Dhawan: In consistent form with the bat and seems to be getting ready to kick on. He hit 31 in a 118-run partnership with Sharma last time, to follow scores of 41, 36 and 40 in his three previous T20 innings too.
Deepak Chahar: Followed figures of 1-24 by taking 1-25 last time out. With Kumar and Bumrah out, IPL 2019’s leading Indian wicket-taker leads this bowling attack.
IND Team Form
India bounced back from consecutive defeats, against South Africa and Bangladesh, by beating the Tigers last time out. After falling short with the bat in the first match of this series, Rohit Sharma ensured there would be no repeat – he smashed 85 from 43 balls as India made very light work of their chase of 154 to win – losing just two wickets and taking just 15.4 overs.
Mohammad Naim, who made his debut in the first game, continued at the top of the order with Liton Das last time out as Tamim Iqbal is away.
BAN Key Players
Mushfiqur Rahim: The fifth T20i half-century of his career led Bangladesh to victory in the opening match of the series.
Aminul Islam: Claimed both wickets to fall last time out on his way to figures of 2-29, to follow his 2-22 in the opening game. He now has six wickets in his three T20i innings.
Mahmudullah: Followed his unbeaten 15 from seven balls with 30 from 21 balls last time out. He is the third-leading run-scorer in Bangladesh’s T20i history – and the leading one on this series.
BAN Team Form
Bangladesh had won four from their last five T20 international matches but could not seal series victory against India last time out. Mushfiqur Rahim was their star man in the opening game, hitting 60* in the Tigers’ stunning win, but their total of 153/6 was below par last time out. India won by eight wickets in just 15.4 overs.

IND vs BAN Head to Head Stats

With the ball, Yuzvendra Chahal is 3.75 to be India’s top bowler with Bet365. Deepak Chahar is 4.50. For Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman is 3.50 favourite with Bet365, while in-form Aminul Islam is 4.50 with Bet365.
India vs Bangladesh Prediction
India stormed back last time out and look too strong for Bangladesh. Despite losing their first match, they can prove their dominance by sealing series victory this time out.
Back India to beat Bangladesh at 1.12 with Bet365.
Mushfiqur Rahim was Bangladesh’s top batsman in the opening game of this series and even at ten credits he still looks the best option of the wicket-keeper-batsmen.
Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan proved their worth again last time out with a 118-run opening partnership. Sharma was in explosive form, while Dhawan has been consistent of late and both justify their high costs. Mohammad Naim has made a solid start at the top of the order for Banglandesh and he is just eight credits, which helps balance the above. Both Mahmudullah and Soumya Sarkar are nine credits, while Shreyas Iyer looks top value at 8.5 innings after helping to finish the chase last time out.
None of the all-rounders have stood out particularly yet, with Washington Sundar and Afif Hossain – despite being the cheapest – having scored the most so far.
Yuzvendra Chahal and Deepak Chahar have picked up wickets and bowled tidily for India so far. Aminul Islam is just eight credits despite taking four wickets in two matches so far.
Rohit Sharma starred for India in their win in the second match of this series and he looks a good choice for captain again. Aminul Islam may be a less common choice for vice-captain, but with two wickets in each of the first two matches he could be a solid choice.
