HBH vs BRH Prediction & Betting Tips, BBL 2020-21
Brisbane Heat finally managed to open their account with an impressive win over Hobart Hurricanes. It was their first win after three consecutive losses. They’ll again take on Hobart Hurricanes in their next match but will they be able to back their win with an another victory? Read on our preview to get an idea about the same. The match will be played on the Gabba, Brisbane and is scheduled to get underway at 6:15 PM local time.
Defending 152 is never easy but Brisbane Heat should be very proud of their performance that gave them their first victory of the BBL 2020-21. Lewis Gregory, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Mark Steketee, Jack Wildermuth were exceptional with the ball. This is something that’ll lift the Brisbane Heat and we’ll see them performing much better in the upcoming games.
The batting however is still a concern for the Heats. Chris Lynn won’t be available for the next few games due to an injury which is a big blow.
At 73-0 in 6 overs, Heats were looking good for a 200+ score but another batting failure pegged them back as they were restricted to a below par 152. It’s big time that players like Dan Lawrence, Tom Cooper, Jack Wildermuth start performing with the bat.
Also Max Bryant and Sam Heazlett must ensure that once they get off to a good start, they should convert it into a big score.
Overall, we still feel that Brisbane Heat are a pretty decent side and are capable of beating any team in the competition but they need definite improvement in their batting.
For Hobart Hurricanes, the loss must have been hurting them but this was always coming. Ben McDermott, Colin Ingram, D Arcy Short, Peter Handcomb have failed to deliver collective performance. David Malan too couldn’t score much in his first match of the tournament.
All these players have some runs behind them so there is no reason to believe that they can’t perform together. A little more application on the wicket and Hobart Hurricanes will be very hard to beat.
Scott Boland, Riley Meredith, Nathan Ellis, D Arcy Short are quality bowlers and have been bowling really well for the Hurricanes. Only if their batsmen can come good in the next match, Hurricanes will get their revenge from Brisbane Heat.
At the moment, both teams have a flawed batting but Hurricanes has a little more stability in their team than their opposition and even though they lost their last match to the Heats, we’ll back them to win the upcoming game.

HBH vs BRH Toss Prediction
As we saw in the previous match, chasing is not easy on this wicket. Both skippers will look to win the toss and bat first.
Pitch Report
It’s a good wicket to bat on, not the easiest but a decent wicket. Bowlers, if they can pitch the ball in right area will reap benefits.
Weather Report
There is plenty of rain around but we’ll keep our fingers crossed and hope that it doesn’t cause any interruption in the match

Hobart Hurricanes Team News & Playing 11
HBH Team News
Hobart Hurricanes have named the 17 man squad to take on Brisbane Heat for their second consecutive game in BBL 2020. The only change in the squad is the omission of all rounder James Faulkner who’ll miss the match due to a hamstring injury. It’s a big loss for the Hurricanes and Faulkner have been exceptional for them
HBH Key Players
- Dawid Malan - David Malan is the number 1 T-20 batsmen. He’s been in top form in the shortest format for a long time now. He missed out in the previous game against the Heat but we’ll back him to come good in the next match.
- Ben McDermott - Ben McDermott has been the most consistent batsmen for Hurricanes. He’s a player that can get big runs at a brisk pace. He can be expected to perform well in the upcoming games
- D Arcy Short - We all know D Arcy Short as a terrific batsmen but his bowling has always been very underrated. He picked up three wickets in the last match and got a handy 27 with the bat. We are expecting another big show from Hurricane’s big man.

In a major blow to Brisbane Heat, Chris Lynn won’t be available for most of their matches in the tournament due to a hamstring injury. However, the addition of Englishmen Joe Denly will be a big boost ahead of their return clash with Hurricanes.

- Max Bryant - Max Bryant has got plenty of starts in the tournament but have failed to convert them into big scores. This is something he would like to rectify in the next match. If he does, Heats will be in a very good position.
- Sam Heazlett - Sam Heazlett batted well for his 48 on a tough wicket. We expect him to play another good knock in the next game.
- Jack Wildermuth - Jack Wildermuth with his all round skills can be very handy for Heat. He’s few runs to his name while he’s been very good with the ball too

🏆 Hobart Hurricanes vs Brisbane Heat Prediction
Brisbane Heat will be over the moon after their recent victory over Hobart Hurricanes but we still believe that Hobart Hurricanes are a better team than Brisbane Heat. Heats have a very fragile batting line up that’s struggled throughout the tournament. In the last match as well, they only posted 152 which won’t be sufficient all the time.
Brisbane Haet will win
