GYM Helsinki Gymkhana and Helsinki meet in a key battle as they look to secure a play-off place in the Finnish T20 Premier League. The third-placed team face the fourth-placed team at the Kerava National Cricket Ground on August 2 and the live action is scheduled to start at 18:00 local time.

GYM Helsinki Gymkhana have won their last two matches thanks to excellent bowling performances, with Muhammad Gawas and Faisal Shahzad in particularly good wicket-taking form. It leaves them with six wins in third place – one win and two points ahead of Helsinki.

Helsinki, on the other hand, have had one less completed game. Three wins in a row means the defending champions have now won five in total. Helsinki Gymkhana vs Helsinki Cricket Club Prediction

Final Verdict

Helsinki to beat GYM Helsinki Gymkhana

GYM vs HCC Dream11 Prediction

  • Wicket-keeper(s)

Aniketh Pusthay is listed as a wicket-keeper, but his batting and bowling has been central to Helsinki’s upturn in form and at nine credits he is excellent value too. Zahidullah Kamal will be behind the stumps, but the Helsinki captain is the best choice for Dream 11 wicket-keeper.

  • Batsmen

Saif-ur-Rehman hit another half-century last time out to continue his excellent batting form and he is the pick of an otherwise poor choice of batsmen. Shahid Gondal did star when these teams last met to prove his worth at 8.5 credits, however, and Abdul Wahid Qureshi returned or Helsinki last time out – he may therefore be more prominent with the bat than Faheem Nellancheri. Khalid Raman Mangal missed out, but if he returns he does seem the better pick.

  • All-rounder(s)

There are a few stand-out all-rounders, although the one in the best form at the moment appears to be Abdul Ahad Qureshi, who is just eight credits but has really started to motor with the bat. Ghulam Abbas Butt hit a rapid half-century last time out and has wickets under his belt too, meanwhile. With those two being such good value, you can then afford Helsinki’s leading wicket-taker, Zakiullah Kamal, at ten credits as well as Jaleel Ahmad – who has 419 points and is also ten credits.

  • Bowlers

GYM Helsinki Gymkhaha have the in-form out-and-out bowlers, however. The team’s bowling form has been excellent of late and Muhammad Gawas and Faisal Shahzad have played key parts in that. Both of those should be considered definite selections, and Atti-ur-Rehman is not far behind them – plus he is top value at 8.5 credits too. Given their form, an all-GYM bowling attack can certainly be justified.

  • Captain/vice-captain

Abdul Ahad Qureshi has hit some serious form and captain Aniketh Pusthay is another to consider for captain or vice-captain. Both have played leading parts in the last three wins, although Pusthay is perhaps more consistent with both bat and ball. Muhammad Gawas’ wicket-taking form also makes him a stand-out contender for captain – and the latter could well trump the Helsinki duo.

GYM vs HCC Dream11 Team Prediction

  • Batsmen:Saif-ur-Rehman, Shahid Gondal, Abdul Wahid Qureshi

  • All Rounder:Ghulam Abbas Butt, Abdul Ahad Qureshi, Zakiullah Kamal, Jaleel Ahmed

  • Wicket Keeper:Aniketh Pusthay (vc)

  • Bowler:Muhammad Gawas (c), Faisal Shahzad, Atti-ur-Rehman
