Last year’s runners-up, Guyana Amazon Warriors, will bid to back up their first win of the season when they take on Jamaica Tallawahs in the third match of this season’s Caribbean Premier League. The match takes place at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy on August 22 and the live action starts at 17:30 local time.
Both the Amazon Warriors and the Tallawahs have lost to Trinbago Knight Riders so far. Guyana bounced back last time out, however, when Shimron Hetmyer hit his second consecutive half-century in a three-wicket win against the Patriots last time out. Jamaica Tallawahs, meanwhile, chased 159 to beat St Lucia Zouka in their opening game. Asif Ali hit 47* from 27 balls on the way to a five-wicket win with seven balls to spare.
