They will be opening the batting with Wilson and Davies, both of whom seem to be out of form. This means Sangakkara, their most reliable batsman, will be going to have to play a big knock for his team. In the absence of Dwayne Bravo, it will be up to Rory Burns and Zafar Ansari to hold the innings together. For Surrey's scorecard to look good, the openers and Sangakkara will need to put up a good show with the bat.

Their bowling attack will be without Ravi Rampaul and Dwayne Bravo. So Surrey will now have to rely on the Curran brothers. Sam Curran, with eight wickets this year, has been their best bowler so far and he will be backed to pick up early wickets against Gloucestershire. Spinners Gareth Batty and Zafar Ansari did well against Middlesex and the two will look to cut down the flow of runs.

Gloucestershire and Surrey have played two Natwest T20 Blast games against each other with the latter winning both of them. So Gloucestershire will be wary of the fact that they have never beaten Surrey in this tournament. The two teams will be facing each other at Bristol for the first time, and Gloucestershire will have an edge playing on their home ground. Moreover, their team looks stronger this year with most of their batsmen and bowlers in good form and they are winning more games than Surrey.

Although Surrey have never been defeated by Gloucestershire, we feel that the latter are playing better cricket this season and so they should be the favorites to win this match.
