GLO vs HAM Dream11 Prediction
James Bracey has been Gloucestershire’s wicket-keeper so far this season, while Lewis McManus is behind the stumps for Hampshire. Bracey has scored slightly higher than McManus so far, despite only being eight credits.
That is handy, because it saves some credits for the batsmen. James Vince is Hampshire’s leading run-scorer so far, while Rilee Rossouw is as big a danger as ever with the bat too. For Gloucestershire, Ian Cockbain and Michael Klinger have perhaps not been consistent enough to justify their hefty tags, but at least one is still worth picking – particularly as Miles Hammond, back in form in the last two innings, is just 8.5 credits and balances things out.
Liam Dawson has scored runs and picked up wickets, showing why England included him in their World Cup squad – even if he did not feature in the tournament. Chris Morris is another of their leading all-rounders. With Benny Howell injured, those two are the better options for all-rounders. Jack Taylor and Ryan Higgins are good alternatives, however – the latter in particular has scored well.
Andrew Tye, Chris Liddle and Kyle Abbott are all good options with the ball but may be too expensive depending on your selections so far. Liddle has six wickets in 12 overs, proving himself a useful strike bowler. Further down the pricing scale, David Payne has scored more Dream 11 points than any of those three, while Chris Wood has been in wicket-taking form – as he was in this fixture last season too.
Liam Dawson can, and has, contributed with bat and ball so far in this year’s tournament and will be a good pick as captain if he gets time for a good innings. James Vince will definitely have that time, meanwhile, and the England batsman is in good form too. Vince may be a better option as vice-captain. An alternative, given how many Dream 11 points he has scored so far, is Ryan Higgins.
