England’s final Group B fixture of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup sees them take on fellow former champions West Indies. The match takes place at the Sydney Showground Stadium on March 1 and the live action starts at 19:00 local time.
England have bounced back from their surprise defeat to South Africa in their opening game by beating Thailand and Pakistan comfortably. Heather Knight hit a century against the former and then 62 in the 42-run win against the latter. England bowled Pakistan out for 116 in reply to 158/7 last time out.
West Indies have been short of form, however. They beat Thailand by seven wickets first up, but then posted just 124/7 and lost by eight wickets with ten balls to spare.
