A top-order collapse saw England Women get reduced to 19-4 in just the sixth over. Three of their top four batters could collectively score just one run and the home team will be hoping for the likes of Sarah Taylor, Tammy Beaumont and Heather Knight to come good with the bat this time around. Taylor is the leading ODI run-getter at this ground from the current line-up while skipper Knight has 18 half-centuries here. Natalie Sciver, who struck 64 on Tuesday, is a key figure in the side. She is the most reliable batter for England in the middle-order and does a pretty good job with the ball as well. Katherine Brunt is the team's best bowler in the 50-over format with 147 wickets which includes a couple of four-wicket hauls and five fifers. Apart from her, the Australians will also be wary of left-arm spinner Sophie Ecclestone who claimed 3-34 in the first ODI.

Australia did finish winners in the first game but they will have to sort out their middle-order batting problems in the next one. Except for Alyssa Healy, who smashed 66 off 71 balls, and Beth Mooney who scored a brisk 25 down the order, no other batter in the side could reach the 20-run mark. The visitors will need the likes of Meg Lanning, Ellyse Perry and Rachael Haynes to step up and score some runs. Lanning and Perry are both amongst the leading run-scorers for Australia in the 50-over format. The latter will also have a big role to play when it comes to bowling. She is the third-highest wicket-taker for her side in ODIs and is coming on the back of a three-wicket haul. Megan Schutt and Jess Jonassen both took two wickets apiece at very impressive economy rates and they will be expected to deliver a similar performance in this match.

England Women and Australia Women have now played 73 completed one-day internationals against each other with the latter leading the scoreline 50-22. One of those encounters, which was played way back in 1982 at Christchurch, had resulted in a tie.
Australia Women have won seven of their last ten ODIs against England Women. The latter last registered a win in this format in 2017 at the Coffs Harbour in New South Wales by 20 runs.
Tuesday's closely-fought encounter, which the Aussies ended up winning by two wickets, was the first 50-over match played between the two teams at Leicester.

Australia Women, after their win in the first game, begin as favorites to win the second ODI at 1.61 with Betway. England Women, in contrast, are outsiders for this game and are being offered at a higher price of 2.20 on Betway.
Our Dream11 team for Eng Women vs Aus Women 2nd ODI has more England Players (7) than Australia (4) since we feel England has a better chance of winning this contest.
Batsmen
Australia's Meg Lanning along with England's Heather Knight and Fran Wilson make it to our Dream11 line-up under the batters category. Lanning averages just over 50 in one-day internationals and the Australian skipper is one of the most consistent performers for her team with the bat. Her English counterpart Heather Knight got a golden duck last time and she will be raring to go out and score big.
Bowler
Megan Schutt has 77 ODI wickets to her name and took 2-19 from 8.5 overs in the first match. We are backing this Australian fast bowler to take a few wickets in this match as well. We have also included medium pacer Anya Shrubsole and spinner Sophie Ecclestone who shone for England with the ball on Tuesday.
All-rounders
Ellyse Perry and Natalie Sciver, due to their prowess with both and ball, are a must-pick for the all-rounders slot. They bat at numbers four and five for their respective teams which means they generally get ample time to settle in and convert their starts into something big. Plus, they have a knack of picking wickets as well. Katherine Brunt is another one whom we have picked in our team.
Wicketkeepers
We have picked two players for the wicketkeeper category - Sarah Taylor and Alyssa Healy. Both bat at the top of the order for their respective sides and while the former is one of England's top batters in the 50-over format, the latter will look to carry her good form from the last game.
Captain
We have picked England’s Natalie Sciver as the captain of our Dream11 team.
Vice-captain
Australia’s Ellyse Perry is the vice-captain of our team.
BATSMEN | ALL ROUNDER | WICKET KEEPER | BOWLER |

Australia have drawn first blood in the three-match ODI series and have put pressure on England who will now have to win both the remaining fixtures in order to win the series. The Aussies have now won their last ten matches in the fifty-over format which means they have a lot of momentum on their side. However, the inconsistency of their middle-order batting remains a big chink in this side which the home team will look to take advantage of. England will really fancy their chances if they remove the Australian top-order for not too many runs and we have a strong feeling that they will do just that on Wednesday.
