Toss Prediction
Out of the 44 one-day internationals played at the Old Trafford, 26 have been won by the side fielding first including four of the last six matches. Also, the wicket here tends to assist the bowlers more early on which is why the toss-winning skipper may elect to bowl first.

Team News
England rested Liam Plunkett in the fourth ODI as a precautionary measure and brought debutant Craig Overton in his place. The fast bowler did not have a good game at the Chester-le-Street as he was taken for 55 runs off his seven overs. It will be interesting to see whether the hosts persist with him for this final game or replace him with Tom Curran who has just been warming the bench this series.
Key Players
The opening pair of Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow is going great guns for the home team. Roy is in sublime form with scores of 120, 82 and 101 in his last three innings and he is also leading the runs charts in this series. His partner Bairstow is second on that list and has an ODI average of 63.50 at the Old Trafford. Eoin Morgan has a couple of fifties in the last three games and he is one of the leading ODI run-getters for England at this venue. Jos Buttler too has been in tremendous touch and is coming off an unbeaten fifty in the last match. Adil Rashid is currently the highest wicket-taker in the series with eleven wickets followed by Moeen Ali who has eight. David Willey who claimed a four-fer last time has also been pretty impressive but the hosts will turn to their spinners, especially Rashid to exert pressure on the Australian batting lineup.
Recent Form
England have now won 11 of their past 15 one-day internationals and have won their last four on the trot. They have been simply outstanding in this series with most of their batsmen and bowlers performing up to the mark. The hosts have been brilliant in the 50-overs format at home since last year, winning 16 out of their 18 completed fixtures.
England Predicted Playing 11
Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Alex Hales, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan (c), Jos Buttler (wk), Moeen Ali, David Willey, Craig Overton/Tom Curran, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood
Australia Team News & Playing 11
Team News
There were three changes for Australia in the fourth ODI - Alex Carey and Nathan Lyon replaced D'Arcy Short and Andrew Tye respectively while Michael Neser came in for Glenn Maxwell who was ruled out with a shoulder injury he picked up while fielding in the last game. If Maxwell recovers from the injury in time, he will likely be brought back in place of Neser who had an off day with both bat and ball. Alex Carey, despite scoring just six runs, will probably get another shot.
Key Players
The top three - Aaron Finch, Travis Head and Shaun Marsh - are the key figures in this Australian batting lineup. Finch, after being promoted back to the opening position, returned to form and smashed a century. Head made a useful contribution of 63 in that 101-run partnership and he now has two half-centuries in two matches. Marsh has been Australia's best batsman on this tour. He has cracked his second ton in three games and the team will expect him to continue his good form. The Aussies will bank mainly on the likes of Jhye Richardson, Billy Stanlake and veteran Nathan Lyon to do the job with the ball. Richardson has taken the most wickets for Australia in this series - five from three matches - and he together with Stanlake who can generate some serious pace are the main threats in this bowling attack. Lyon played his first game of the tour last time and was the most economical of all the bowlers.
Recent Form
Australia's performance since the 2015 World Cup has gone south and they have lost 15 of their last 17 completed one-day internationals. The visitors have been thoroughly outclassed in every department by England in all the four matches of this series. While a loss at Manchester would mean that they will finish the series at the sixth spot in the ICC ODI rankings, a win will push them back to the fifth place.
Australia Predicted Playing 11
Travis Head, Aaron Finch, Shaun Marsh, Marcus Stoinis, Alex Carey, Tim Paine (c/wk), Ashton Agar, Michael Neser/Glenn Maxwell, Jhye Richardson, Nathan Lyon, Billy Stanlake
