Durham vs Yorkshire Prediction

The opening pair of Lyth and Lees seem to be working out pretty well for them. In the last five games, they have put up three good first-wicket partnerships of 45, 65 and 106. Lyth has been the more dominating of the two, hitting back-to-back hundreds and the in-form batsman is likely to top-score on Sunday.

Yorkshire will be backing David Willey and Tim Bresnan to pick up wickets against Durham. Willey has taken eight wickets in his last four matches while Bresnan has six in his last three. Legspinner Adil Rashid can also be a major threat with the ball. Yorkshire will be counting on these three bowlers to take wickets and keep things tight against Durham.

Yorkshire have been the better of the two sides this year. After losing their first two games, they fought back hard to win the next four on the trot. Durham, in spite of featuring talented players in their squad, are performing below their standards with three wins from six matches.

Although Durham have the potential to beat any side in this competition, we feel that Yorkshire with their well-rounded batting and bowling have a better chance of winning this match.
