Desert Riders and Swift Gallopers get their debut Qatar T10 League campaigns underway in Doha on the second day of the inaugural tournament. Their match takes place on December 8 at West End Park, and gets underway at 18:30 local time.
Swift Gallopers look set to be one of the teams to beat this season, with Luke Wright – who was in excellent batting form at the Abu Dhabi T10 League – and Kamran Akmal set to lead their batting charge.
Looking to counter them for the Desert Riders will be a bowling attack led by Pakistani left-arm paceman Sohail Tanvir. Despite the strength of the Gallopers’ line-up, however, neither are clear favourites with the bookmakers.
