Dolphins Team News & Playing 11
The Dolphins rely mainly on their opening pair of Morne van Wyk and Sarel Erwee along with Cody Chetty and Khaya Zondo when it comes to batting. Chetty and van Wyk recently struck half-centuries in the game against the Titans and they will be expected to bring that form into this match. Zondo smashed an unbeaten fifty in the reverse encounter and the skipper will look to lead from the front again. Robbie Frylinck, Prenelan Subrayen and Andile Phehlukwayo are the best bets for the Dolphins in terms of bowling. Subrayen has been the standout bowler for his side this season and the off-spinner is more likely to finish with the best figures in this match. Robbie Frylinck took a couple of wickets in the earlier encounter against the Cobras and he will be expected to inflict some damage on them in the powerplay.
Dolphins Predicted Playing 11
Morne van Wyk (wk), Sarel Erwee, Cody Chetty, Andile Phehlukwayo, Robbie Frylinck, Khaya Zondo (c), Marques Ackerman, Sibonelo Makhanya, Keshav Maharaj, Prenelan Subrayen, Daryn Dupavillon
Cape Cobras Team News & Playing 11
Cape Cobras have plenty of depth in their batting with Hashim Amla, Janneman Malan, Kyle Verreynne and David Bedingham being the key figures. Malan and Bedingham are two of the leading run-getters in the tournament and the team will want them to continue their good run of form. Amla has not looked at his best but a big knock from him could be just around the corner. Aviwe Mgijima, who clubbed an unbeaten 55 against the Titans, has showed how handy he can be down the order. Vernon Philander, Rory Kleinveldt and Tladi Bokako are the main weapons in this Cobras' bowling arsenal. Philander has been brilliant this season and he could make the early inroads into the Dolphins' batting line-up. Kleinveldt was the pick of the bowlers in the reverse fixture with outstanding figures of 2-9 from four overs and the skipper will look to deliver a similar performance.
