DDD vs CSG Toss Prediction
Tirunelveli, though a low-scoring pitch, has tended to favour teams batting first more than those fielding. After their defeat last time out, Dindigul Dragons might want to bat first as they bid to put things right.
DDD vs CSG Weather Report
The temperatures are due to ramp up in the week with sunnier conditions and no chance of rain in Tirunelveli. Temperatures will be in the mid-thirties.
DDD vs CSG Pitch Condition

Chepauk Super Gillies Team News & Playing 11
CSG Team News
Chepauk Super Gillies welcomed fit-again Vijay Shankar back to the side last time out, with the Indian international finally recovered from the injury which cut short his World Cup campaign. Shankar is likely to remain, with the main selection debate for Chepauk Super Gillies behind the stumps – Umashankar Sushil kept wicket last time out, replacing A Aarif.
CSG Key Players
Vijay Shankar: Unable to show his best batting form on his first appearance last time out, but he then opened up with a wicket with the ball (and a wicket maiden) as he guided the Patriots through to the final.
Hari Gopinath: Continued his good batting form with his third half-century of this year’s TNPL against TUTI Patriots last time out. He now has 277 runs at a strike rate of 152.19 so far in this year’s competition.
S Harish Kumar: Dismissed danger man Akshay Srinivasan last time out to claim 3-4 from two overs. He now has 14 wickets in seven matches so far – including two four-wicket hauls – and he has also scored 141 runs, including a half-century.
CSG Team Form
Chepauk Super Gillies lost just two of their seven group games – their first match, against Dindigul, and their penultimate game against Siechem Madurai Panthers. A rare expensive bowling performance cost them in the latter – conceding 172/7 and finishing 139/8 in reply.
But they were back to their best against TUTI Patriots in their final game. Knowing a win would see them finish second, Hari Gopinath’s half-century helped them to 127 all out before they bowled the Patriots out for 95.
Chepauk Super Gillies Predicted Playing 11
Ganga Sridhar Raju, Hari Gopinath, Kaushik Gandhi, Vijay Shankar, Uthirasamy Sasidev, Murugan Ashwin, Umashankar Sushil, Harish Kumar, M Siddharth, G Periyaswamy, R Alexander
