Who will win Delhi Bulls vs Northern Warriors, T10 League 2019?
Defending champions Northern Warriors face Delhi Bulls in the second phase of the Abu Dhabi T10 League at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on November 19. The match is scheduled to start at 17:45 local time.
The Warriors started with a win, but come into this game on the back of two poor defeats. They were carted for 46 in their second game and their score of 92/1 last time out was below par too. Andre Russell is in excellent form, however, which is a big positive to carry forward.
Delhi Bulls also finished with two winless games – a defeat to Karnataka Tuskers and a tie with Bangla Tigers. Ravi Rampaul continued his outstanding bowling form in the latter, however.

DB vs NW Weather Report
The forecast rain will not arrive until overnight, so this game should take place in typically Emirati conditions.
DB vs NW Pitch Condition
As usual, the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium wicket has not been exclusively for the batsmen – some fast bowlers in particular have thrived. It is still a batting wicket, however.

Delhi Bulls Team News & Playing 11
DB Team News
The arrival of Sherfane Rutherford and Mohammad Nabi bolstered a batting line-up that had been below par in the second game. Runs from the top order were needed, but Kusal Perera provided them last time out. Paul Stirling may return this time to replace Muhammad Usman.
DB Key Players
Eoin Morgan: Scores of 52* from 27 balls in the first game, 21 from ten balls in the second and then 27* from 15 balls last time out have proved the England captain’s excellent form.
Kusal Perera: Back to his best at the top of the order last time out, scoring boundaries from nine of the 18 balls he faced on his way to 43 at the top of the order. The Bulls were well ahead of the required rate when he was dismissed in the fifth over.
Ravi Rampaul: Bowling figures of 0-9, 2-16 and 2-13 so far – all from two overs each time – have showed his value with the ball.
DB Team Form
Eoin Morgan led Delhi Bulls to victory in their opening game of T10 League, hitting an unbeaten half-century to lead a chase of 103 to beat Deccan Gladiators by seven wickets first up. They fell short against Karnataka Tuskers – scoring just 91/8 in reply to 110/5 – but finished with a tie against Team Abu Dhabi. Ravi Rampaul and Mohammad Nabi each claimed 2-13 with the ball as the Tigers posted 108/7, before Kusal Perera hit 43 as the Bulls scored 108/4.
Delhi Bulls Predicted Playing 11
Paul Stirling, Kusal Perera (wk), Sherfane Rutherford, Eoin Morgan (c), Angelo Mathews, Mohammad Nabi, David Willey, Adil Rashid, Dushmantha Chameera, Ali Khan, Ravi Rampaul
Northern Warriors Team News & Playing 11
NW Team News
Lendl Simmons could slot in at the top of the order and Karim Janat also feature after they missed the start of this tournament due to international duty. Nicholas Pooran was suspended for West Indies’ series with Afghanistan but was also away – he too could return now to bolster a struggling batting line-up.
NW Key Players
Andre Russell: The explosive all-rounder started with 58* and 2-12 in a match-winning all-round performance against Maratha Arabians. He then took 1-18 in the second match and hit 37* last time out.
Nicholas Pooran: The star man of last year’s T10 League, the wicket-keeper-batsman has a point to prove after his ball-tampering charge – for picking the seam – while away with the West Indies.
Karim Janat: Arrives straight from Afghanistan’s T20i series with West Indies, where he turned the series with his 26 and 5-11 in the second match.
NW Team Form
Two poor batting performances mean Northern Warriors have not lived up to expectations since their Andre Russell-inspired opening win. They posted a miserable 46 all out in reply to Qalandars’ 112/4 in their second game and a score of 92/1 – after electing to bat first – was never likely to be enough last time out either. Team Abu Dhabi chased it down in 8.3 overs.
Northern Warriors Predicted Playing 11
Lendl Simmons, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Andre Russell, Sam Billings, Darren Sammy (c), Rayad Emrit, Karim Janat, Chris Green, Nuwan Pradeep, Chris Wood, Ansh Tandon
Delhi Bulls vs Northern Warriors Head to Head
Delhi Bulls, in their debut T10 season, will be playing the more experienced Northern Warriors team for the first time.
Delhi Bulls vs Northern Warriors Betting Odds
Delhi Bulls are 1.72 favourites to beat Northern Warriors with Bet365, while the out-of-form Warriors are 2.10 outsiders.
Andre Russell will be key to the Warriors’ hopes of turning those odds on their head. He is 3.00 joint-favourite with Bet365 alongside Sam Billings to be their top batsman. Lendl Simmons and Nicholas Pooran, who are due to arrive after international duty, are not listed.
For the Bulls, Kusal Perera is 2.50 favourite after his excellent innings last time out, while Paul Stirling is 3.00 and Sherfane Rutherford 3.50. In-form Eoin Morgan is 5.00 in the middle order and Angelo Mathews is 9.00. Both have batted plenty of times so far, however.
🏆 Delhi Bulls vs Northern Warriors Prediction
Northern Warriors have Andre Russell in top form but the rest of the team are yet to fire. Delhi Bulls finished with a good performance in the group stage and can use that for momentum.
