- Shubman Gill- the Indian international opener went into Friday’s playoff match as the second highest run scorer but soon went past Faf du Plessis to be the leading batter in the tournament. He had never averaged over 35 in an IPL season before this year but currently averages 60.79 in this campaign.
- Rashid Khan- on a tough bowling wicket against a strong batting line-up, Rashid Khan was used within the powerplay by his skipper against Mumbai Indians. He picked up two crucial wickets in the Qualifier 2. Firstly, he got Tilak Varma with the last ball of the powerplay and then removed the final dangerman, Tim David, in the 16th over.
- Mohammed Shami- the pace bowler produced the goods early on once again for Gujarat Titans in the last match. However, he also conceded 24 runs from one over and will be keen to get a hold on his economy rate again in this match. He is particularly dangerous in the early overs but will be a threat throughout.
- Hardik Pandya - The skipper Hardik Pandya was the Player of the Match in the final match of the 2022 which was won by GT on the same ground.
