Dawid Malan replaced injured Ali Khan for the match against Rajshahi Kings but the England batsman could not prevent another low score for Khulna Titans. Nevertheless, they may be unchanged for the first time when they face Chittagong Vikings – unless Carlos Brathwaite can muscle his way back in to contention.

Runs have been hard to come by for the Khulna Titans so far, but Junaid Siddique has at least showed a bit of form, scoring a patient 33 from 30 in the first game, 31 from 16 in the second and then 23 from 18 last time out – the latter two were the Titans’ top scores in those matches.

Paul Stirling is the only batsman to pass 50 so far, which he did when he hit 61 from 46 balls in the opening game. Stirling’s part-time off-spin has also brought three wickets so far, and big ones too – Hazratullah Zazai and Shakib Al Hasan against Dhaka Dynamites, before ending Rajshahi Kings’ 89-run second-wicket partnership last time out.

Dawid Malan will hope for runs having made his first appearance last time out – he has hit four T20 international half-centuries in just five appearances for the English national team.

David Wiese took 2-24 in his first match, against Dhaka Dynamites, meanwhile, to show what he can bring to the bowling line-up. The Titans now need someone to step up with him – perhaps Afghani spinner Zahir Khan, who took 1-18 last time out.

Khulna Titans have failed to impress so far, with three defeats from their first three matches. They elected to bowl first against Rangpur Riders and were set 170 to win. Paul Stirling’s 61 from 46 balls set the tone, but they ultimately fell to an eight-run defeat.

The following two games have been charactised by Titans’ batting collapses, meanwhile. Replying to Dhaka Dynamites’ 192/6 in their second match, Khulna finished 87 all out in just 13 overs. They batted out their overs last time out, against Rajshahi Kings, but scored just 117/9 from them on their way to a seven-wicket loss. They sit bottom of the points table so far as a result.
