Who will win Chattogram Challengers vs Rajshahi Royals, BPL 2020?
A place in the Bangladesh Premier League 2019-20 qualifier play-off is up for grabs for the winner as Chattogram Challengers and Rajshahi Royals conclude their league-phase campaign against each other in Dhaka. The first game of the final day of league fixtures, January 11, gets underway at 13:20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Chattogram Challengers moved two points clear of Rajshahi Royals by beating them in both teams’ most recent game. Imrul Kayes was their key man, leading them to 170/3 in 18.3 overs to secure a seven-wicket win.
Rajshahi still boast the betternet run rate, however, so the winner of this game will be guaranteed a top-two spot. The Royals, of course, go into it on the back of a defeat whereas the Challengers have won their last two.

CHC Team News
Chris Gayle made his first appearance of the tournament last time out, in an all-West Indian opening pairing with Lendl Simmons – and immediately hit his stride too. Mahmudullah returned from injury to captain the team too, and Chattogram Challengers’ batting line-up has taken on a new dimension as a result.
CHC Key Players
Lendl Simmons: Scored his 53rd T20 half-century last time out – hitting from 51 from 43 balls, including four sixes, at the top of the order. It was his third 50 of the 2019-20 BPL.
Chris Gayle: In case you were in any doubt as to whether the West Indian legend could still deliver, he returned from his self-imposed cricketing break by hitting three sixes in a ten-ball cameo, hitting 23.
Rubel Hossain: Eight wickets in his last three matches have taken him to 16 in total for the tournament. His figures of 3-20 last time out included 14 dot balls but were actually worse than the 3-17 he took in the previous game.
CHC Team Form
Chattogram Challengers have won their last two matches to keep themselves in pole position for a top-two place and two shots at a place in the BPL 2019-20 final. Last time out, meanwhile, Hossain (3-20) and Ziaur Rahman (3-18) helped limit Rajshahi Royals to 166/8 from their 20 overs and Lendl Simmons (51) and Imrul Kayes (67*) led the Challengers to a seven-wicket win with nine balls remaining.

Rajshahi Royals Team News & Playing 11
RAR Team News
Andre Russell returned as expected last time out, and will hope to have shaken off any rustiness brought on by his injury ahead of this game. It meant no place for Mohammad Nawaz – harsh given his form, but expected – as Shoaib Malik, Ravi Bopara and Mohammad Irfan occupied the other overseas slots.
RAR Key Players
Shoaib Malik: The 37-year-old Pakistani has enjoyed a purple patch in his twilight years, and added another 28 runs last time out to move to 309 in this year’s tournament.
Mohammad Irfan: Bowled a maiden over and 14 dot balls in all last time out – a good recovery – but could not add to his seven wickets. Nevertheless, the giant pace bowler remains a key man.
Andre Russell: Offered a glimpse of his best form with 20 from ten balls on his return with the bat last time out, while his bowling is just as valuable if he hits top stride – something he has done to great effect in among his injury woes.
