  Jan Hoffmann proved he still has his batting flair with the top score in the first game and he is excellent value at 8.5 credits. Varun Mehta is the captain and top-order batsmen for the team, however, and he could also be worth picking at 9.5 credits.

• Batsmen

  Kudzai Chomusora and Praveen Prasad are both options with the bat for the Raiders, who go into this game as favourites. The truth is, there are not many options so you may have to take a punt. Certainly, Muhammad Ansar has not showed his best form yet either. One option could be Vivek Raxwal, who will be pushing for a recall.

• All-rounder(s)

  There is plenty of choice when it comes to all-rounders, but Aamir Husain and Sandeep Naidu have both proved their worth with their performances so far so they both sit top of the pile. That leaves one space for one of Vijay Bajalwan, Arunkumar Vasudevan and Suresh Ramaro. Bajalwan is the higher up the batting order and there is no reason to save credits, so he could be the one to pick.

• Bowlers

  Piyush Tripathi has 78 points already which is a great return for just eight credits. Jaipal Singh Rathore may not be as consistent a threat as expected with the ball, so he may not be a good pick at 8.5 credits. Instead, the Raptures have Basavantary Madival and Machris Dias at the same price who have outscored Rathore. Raghvendra Singh, at nine credits, is another option, however.

• Captain/vice-captain

  Aamir Husain showed why he is the key all-rounder and the top choice for captain with his form in the first game. He will be up the batting order and could make a mark with the ball too. Sandeep Naidu’s performance so far means he is at least a good back-up option, however.
