Moravian CC, on their competitive debut, have lost both matches they have played so far to the other two Brno teams. They were bowled out for 27 against Brno Raptors and 55 against Brno Raiders. Given this is the Brno first XI now, Moravian start the game as huge outsiders.
Brno Rangers overcame their thirds, Brno Raptors, winning by 17 runs after posting 72/6 and then saw off their seconds, the Brno Raiders, despite losing a couple of early wickets. Naturally, they were big favourites for this group anyway.
