BRH vs SYS Prediction & Betting Tips, BBL 2020-21
Brisbane Heat are almost at a stage where they need to win almost every game to stay in contention for the title. With just a single victory to show in 5 games, they’re struggling in the bottom half of the table.
To their misery, they’re up against a team that’s coming back from 4 back to back victories. Brisbane Heat desperately need a win but Sydney Sixers will be a very tough nut to crack.
Read on our preview as Brisbane Heat take on Sydney Sixers in the 23nd match of the Big Bash League. The match will be played at the Gabba and is scheduled to get underway at 7:15 PM local time.
Brisbane Heat have been very unfortunate in the tournament. They could have easily won all of their last three matches but things are just not going their way at the moment.
A one run loss to Hobart Hurricanes must be really heartbreaking but they’ve themselves to blame. Their batting has been a real issue for them. They don’t seem to have a player that can hold the innings together and get them to a respectable score.
Max Bryant, Sam Heazlett, Jack Wildermuth, Tom Cooper, Lewis Gregory and Jimmy Pierson have been very inconsistent. You may win odd game here and there with such performance but winning a tournament is all about a collective effort of the team which is missing from this Brisbane Heat squad.
The bowling has been satisfactory with most of their bowlers in decent touch but they’ve always been led down but their batsmen. Joe Burns is back for the Heats so their fans can expect a better performance from the Heat in the next game and if that happens, it’ll give them a good chance of halting Sixers juggernaut.
Sydney Sixers on the other hand have been scintillating, winning their last 4 games on the trot. Sixers have compromised a little on their bowling and played players like Jason Holder, Carlos Brathwaite, Daniel Christian that adds a lot of depth in their batting.
It is definitely paving divided for them. Holder smashed 16 runs of the last over to pull of a heist against Melbourne Renegades in their last match. Earlier they chased 20 in the last over to beat Melbourne Stars by 1 wicket.
The firepower in their batting is just fantastic. With Holder batting at 9, they’re never out of the game which makes them a difficult opposition to get past.
Players like Josh Phillip, James Vince Daniel Hughes, Jack Edwards and Jordan Silk are also in terrific form with the bat.
The bowling as we mentioned is not the best in the world but the all rounders are pretty decent bowlers and they’re doing their job beautifully for their team.
Overall, the kind of firepower Sixers have in their team, they’re big favourites over Brisbane Heat

BRH vs SYS Toss Prediction
Toss will be crucial, especially for Brisbane Heat who should bat first and get big runs on the board.
Pitch Report
Gabba is one of the fastest wickets in Australia. The surface will be hard and will have a lot of bounce in it. It’ll give the batsmen plenty of opportunities to score runs but it will offer enough assistance to the bowlers as well.
