Our Pick Melbourne Stars are favorites to win
Brisbane Heat will take on Melbourne Stars in the 32nd match of the Big Bash League. The match will be played at the Carrara Oval and is set to begin at 8:20 PM local time.
Brisbane Heat have picked up some momentum and now have 3 wins in their last 4 games. Chris Lynn has returned from the injury which has further boosted their batting line up.
Joe Denly and Joe Burns got 50’s in the last match which is a great sign. Players like Max Bryant, Lewis Gregory and Jimmy Pierson also need to start contributing now.
In the bowling department, Xavier Bartlett, Jack Wildermuth, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Mark Steketee form a strong bowling unit that’s been in fine form. Only if Heat’s batsmen can get the runs, we’ll have a very competitive game.
Melbourne Stars managed to end their losing streak as they picked up an impressive win over Hobart Hurricanes.
The batting, that was their issue in the last few games came good as Marcus Stoinis, Nicolas Pooran and Hilton Cartwright batted well. On paper, they have brutal batting line up and if everyone can contribute with the bat, they’ll be very contain.
The bowling has not been the best but still, they can do away with that if their batsmen can come good.

Brisbane Heat are coming back from back to back wins but we have few doubts the consistency of their batsmen. Stars on the other hand boast of a destructive batting line up and with Maxwell, Pooran and Stoinis in good form, we expect Melbourne Stars to emerge victorious in this match.
Wicket Keeper
Nicolas Pooran at 9.5 is a good option. He’s played some very good innings and is a match winner on his day
Batsmen
Chris Lynn at 10.5, Hilton Cartwright, Max Bryant and Joe Denly at 8.5 will form our batting order. We all know how destructive Chris Lynn can be and we’ll definitely have him in our side. Joe Denly returned to form and scored a fifty in the last match. Max Bryant has got a lot of starts and we feel that a big inning is just around the corner. Hilton Cartwright is also a very good player who’s in some decent form.
All rounder
Marcus Stonis and Glenn Maxwell will add power to our team. Both are the best players from Melbourne Stars. Stoinis scored a 91 in the last game while Maxwell too have been in top form with the bat.
Bowlers
Adam Zampa at 9.0, Billy Stanlake, Mark Steketee at 8.5 and Liam Hatcher at 8.0 are quality options for our bowlers. The bowling line up has been selected considering the form and the conditions.
Captain /Vice Captain
Chris Lynn is our preferred captain while Marcus Stoinis can be backed as his deputy
