Bangla Tigers are favorites to win

Who will win Bangla Tigers vs Team Abu Dhabi, T10 League 2019?

Bangla Tigers and Team Abu Dhabi will be looking to kick-start their T10 League campaigns when they meet in their first fixture of the ‘Super League’ phase. The match takes place at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on November 19 and gets underway at 20:00 local time.

Both teams took three points from their first three games, but it is the Tigers who arrive in better form – winning their second game and tying last time out. They have fielded the same 11 in all three matches but the likes of Rilee Rossouw and Andre Fletcher have showed good batting form.

Team Abu Dhabi tied their first game, then beat Northern Warriors, but lost to Maratha Arabians last time out. They conceded 138/2 in their most recent game, in start contrast to their excellent bowling performance in restricting Northern Warriors to 92/1. They do at least have Luke Wright in good batting form though.

BGT vs AD Weather Report

It is forecast to rain later in the day but not until well after this match has been played in hot, sunny and clear conditions.

BGT vs AD Pitch Condition

The wicket has played largely as expected so far. There is no denying there is something there for the bowlers, but it is predominantly one for big hitting.

Bangla Tigers Team News & Playing 11

BGT Team News

Bangla Tigers have stuck with the same team for all three T10 League matches so far and could continue that into the second phase.

BGT Key Players

Andre Fletcher: Proved his worth in the second game, when he hammered 40 from 15 balls to set them away to victory.

David Wiese: Top bowling in the first match, followed by an economical spell in the second and then he hit 20 from ten balls and claimed a run-out off the penultimate ball, before defending three of the final ball in their tie.

Rilee Rossouw: The big-hitting South African was at it again last time out, following up his scores of 26 and 22 so far, with 27 from 16 balls as he opened with Fletcher.

BGT Team Form

Bangla Tigers finished with a tie, after losing one and winning one of their first two matches. They failed to defend 108/5 in a six-wicket defeat to Deccan Gladiators first up, but Andre Fletcher’s excellent 40 from 15 balls led a chase of 115 to win the second game by five wickets with seven balls to spare. Last time out, they posted 108/7 and then held Delhi Bulls to the same score to tie the game.

Bangla Tigers Predicted Playing 11

Andre Fletcher, Rilee Rossouw, Colin Ingram, Tom Moores (wk), Thisara Perera (c), Robbie Frylinck, Liam Plunkett, David Wiese, Qais Ahmad, Chirag Suri, Kevin Koththiigoda

BGT vs AD Dream11 Team Prediction, Captain, Vice Captain

Wicket-keeper

There are four wicket-keeping options for this game. Niroshan Dickwella, Andre Fletcher, Tom Moores and Alex Davies are all listed. Davies is too low down the order but the others have proved their worth in patches so far. Andre Fletcher will be a key opener for the Tigers, however, which makes him stand out. Niroshan Dickwella is also up the order.

Batsmen

Rilee Rossouw is also key for the Tigers and has made a bright start in all three games so far to justify his ten-credit cost. You can balance that with the fact in-form Luke Wright costs just nine credits for Team Abu Dhabi despite also being in good form with the bat. That leaves one space, and Colin Ingram looks the most dangerous of the batsmen remaining given he is up the order.

All-rounders

Moeen Ali, even without bowling so far, has proved his worth by going past 100 points so far. David Wiese was a key all-rounder last time out for Bangla Tigers, meanwhile, and Robbie Frylinck could be worth picking up at nine credits even if he has not showed his very best form just yet.

Bowlers

Liam Plunkett bowled well for the Tigers last time out, while Marchant de Lange and Ben Laughlin have been key figures with the ball for Team Abu Dhabi. That means no place for Harry Gurney, Qais Ahmad and Richard Gleeson, though that perhaps reflects the form book for the latter two. If you need to save credits, Kevin Koththigoda is just 7.5 credits and has 60 points so far.

Captain/Vice-captain

Consistency is key, and the fact Moeen Ali is in triple figures for points without yet bowling shows why he is a good shout for Dream 11 captain. Team-mate Luke Wright has been consistent with the bat so far too, while David Wiese is a key all-rounder for Bangla Tigers. Either would be a good vice-captain option.

Team Abu Dhabi Team News & Playing 11

AD Team News

Wayne Madsen replaced Nepal captain Paras Khadka last time out, while Alex Davies continued in place of Corey Anderson – who has not played since he top scored for the team in the opening game. Moeen Ali has played as a batsman only, not bowling a single over in the group stage.

AD Key Players

Moeen Ali: Scores of 30 and 31 in the last two matches have served as a reminder of what the Team Abu Dhabi captain is capable of, even if he is electing not to bowl so far.

Luke Wright: Top-scored in each of the last two games, hitting 48 from 23 in the win against Northern Warriors and 40* from 25 in the defeat to Maratha Arabians.

Ben Laughlin: The Australian veteran has bowled economically so far, following up his 1-19 in the win against Northern Warriors with 1-15 last time out.

AD Team Form

Team Abu Dhabi started with a tie as both they and Qalandars scored 103, before Luke Wright hit 48 from 23 balls in a six-wicket win against Northern Warriors second up – leading a chase of 93 to win. Last time out, Wright hit 40* from 25 balls but it was not enough after Maratha Arabians had blasted 138/2.
