• Wicket-keeper(s)

  Chanka Jayasinge and Muhammad Imrul Abedin are both key players for their respective teams, opening the batting as well as being behind the stumps. Both could be worth selecting but sticking to one leaves space for an extra all-rounder.

• Batsmen

  Ravi Sanjeewa are 9.5 credits and has amassed 200 points so far. Habib Al Amin and Ursan Tavernier are nine and 8.5 credits respectively, but choice is limited. All three can make their mark, but they are often down the order.

• All-rounder(s)

  There is plenty of choice when it comes to the all-rounders but the key is also keeping credits back for the bowlers. Nurul Huda and Ranuka Shiran Fernando are both ten credits but you should limit it to selecting just one of them. That still leaves enough for one of Belayet Khan and Shahed Alam – and the latter’s five-wicket haul last time out propels him to the front of the queue – alongside in-form Ameer Hamsa Warsha and Sanjeewa Peththahandi to complete the line-up. The latter two are both in top wicket-taking form. 

• Bowlers

  Tonmoy Kumar Saha is another key all-rounder, even if he did miss out last time out. He has wickets and runs aplenty. Rony Sardar is nine credits, meanwhile, and while he was expensive in the last game he has amassed more than 300 points. That leaves 8.5 credits, but Nalaka Hangamuwe only costs eight of those.

• Captain/vice-captain

  He missed out last time out, otherwise Tonmoy Kumar Saha would be the obvious all-rounder. He is still a great captain pick if he plays, however, while Ameer Hamsa Warsha’s consistency could make him the best vice-captain pick.
