Barbados Royals will take on Trinbago Knight Riders in Match 3 of the 6ixty. The game will be played at Warner Park Sporting Complex, Basseterre Muscat starting at 17:30 local time on Thursday 25th August.

Barbados Royals have assembled an excellent team with many countries represented across their squad. Record breaking West Indies batter Kyle Mayers will captain the side alongside his fellow home international players in Jason Holder, Obed McCoy, Hayden Walsh, Devon Thomas and Rahkeem Cornwall. Ireland’s Harry Tector, South Africa’s Corbin Bosch and Pakistan’s Azam Khan make up the overseas players in a squad which looks very likely to challenge at the top of the table. Left-arm pace bowler Obed McCoy has had an excellent few months in white ball cricket and could well be the key bowler in the tournament.

Former West Indian captain and all-rounder Kieron Pollard will lead the Trinbago Knight Riders across the 2022 6ixty. Although he is not as consistent a player as he was a few years ago, he is still capable of winning a game single-handedly with both bat or ball. Current West Indies white-ball skipper, Nicholas Pooran, will enjoy playing in this tournament without the pressure of captaincy after a month or so of mainly negative results against India and New Zealand. Specialist short format franchise players, Sunil Narine and Ravi Rampaul, will both offer plenty of wicket taking ability with the ball.
