Bangladesh are favorites to win
Bangladesh and West Indies had finished as the top two teams on the points table and they will now be taking on each other in the final game of the Ireland ODI Tri-Series. The match is scheduled to be played on May 17 at The Village in Dublin. Live telecast will begin at 10:45 AM local time.
TV channels: Sony Six, Fox Sports, SuperSport, BT Sport, Ten Sports, OSN Sports Cricket HD
Live Streaming: Bet365, SonyLIV, SuperSport Live, Foxtel Sports
Four of the last five completed one-day internationals played at this ground have been won by the side batting second. Since the pitch here tends to become better for batting after the first period of play in 50-over games, the team that wins the toss in this match is likely to bowl first.

Bangladesh have an injury concern ahead of this final match as key all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan suffered a side strain while batting in the last league game against Ireland. Although his injury has not been deemed serious by the Bangladesh Cricket Board, it remains to be seen whether the team will risk playing him with the World Cup just around the corner. Mohammad Saifuddin had sustained a back injury earlier and was expected to miss the previous game. However, the team management decided to play the pace bowling all-rounder in the dead rubber against Ireland. Liton Das, who replaced Soumya Sarkar at the top of the order last time, impressed with the bat and it will be interesting to see whom the team prefers to partner with Tamim Iqbal for this series decider.
Tamim Iqbal has scored the most runs for Bangladesh in this tri-series. The opener has cracked two half-centuries in three games and he continues to be the key man in this batting line-up. Soumya Sarkar hit a fifty in both the earlier encounters against the West Indies while Liton Das, who played his first game of the series on Wednesday against Ireland, smashed 76 off 67 balls. Mushfiqur Rahim is the team's most reliable batsman in the middle order. Shakib Al Hasan suffered a side strain last time and had to retire hurt on the score of 50. The all-rounder is the x-factor in this side and Bangladesh will be hoping that their star player is declared fit for this game. Mustafizur Rahman has been the standout performer with the ball with six wickets. The pacer took a four-wicket haul in his most recent outing against the Windies and he will be expected to deliver a similar performance on Friday. Mashrafe Mortaza too has taken as many wickets in the series and he alon who claimed a fiver-fer last time out, are the other big threats in this bowling group.
Bangladesh have performed pretty well in ODI cricket in recent times having won eight of their last twelve one-day internationals. At the start of this year, however, they suffered a 0-3 drubbing in New Zealand at the hands of the hosts. But they have done well to put that behind them and dominate Ireland and West Indies in the ongoing tri-series. Bangladesh have won every game in this series which means they are now on a three-match winning streak.

West Indies made just the one change to their side in the previous match against Bangladesh, resting fast bowler Shannon Gabriel and bringing in bowling all-rounder Raymon Reifer who made his ODI debut. Gabriel is likely to return for this final match which means Reifer will have to be benched. Shai Hope and Sunil Ambris will continue to open the batting for the Windies with Darren Bravo and Roston Chase batting at numbers three and four respectively. The new ball will probably be shared by the pace duo of Sheldon Cottrell and Kemar Roach.
Shai Hope is looking in excellent touch and the Windies will be hoping that he continues his impressive form. The opening batsman is leading the series' runs charts with 396 runs and has cracked a couple of centuries and a fifty in his four innings. His partner Sunil Ambris is second on the list with 209 runs and the team will need him to stitch a healthy partnership with Hope. There will also be plenty of expectations from Roston Chase and Darren Bravo who is yet to get going in this series. When it comes to bowling, the Windies will look to their new-ball pair of Sheldon Cottrell and Kemar Roach to provide the early breakthroughs. The bigger threat, however, will come from the likes of Ashley Nurse and Shannon Gabriel. Nurse has been the most impressive bowler with seven wickets. The off-spinner has a four wicket-haul in the series and he even snared three scalps last time against Bangladesh.
West Indies have been inconsistent in the fifty-over format. They have played eight completed one-day internationals so far this year with four wins and as many losses. The Windies came into this tri-series on the back of a 2-2 draw against England at home. They secured emphatic wins over Ireland but lost both their fixtures against Bangladesh. Their batsmen underperformed and failed to put up enough runs on the board in their recent five-wicket defeat to Bangladesh.

Bangladesh and West Indies have played 36 one-day internationals against each other. The former have won 13 of those and the latter 21 while 2 have been rained off.
Bangladesh have beaten the Windies six times (and on the previous three occasions straight) in their last eight meetings with them in the game's fifty-over format.
Bangladesh registered a convincing five-wicket victory in their most recent ODI encounter against the Windies on Monday. It was the fifth match of the ongoing tri-series and the first-ever between these two teams at this venue.

Bangladesh begin as the bookmakers' favorites to win the final match of the tri-series and they are being offered at odds of 1.72 on Bet365 and 1.71 on Betrally. West Indies find themselves as the underdogs at a higher price of 2.10 with Bet365 and 2.05 with Betrally.
While West Indies faced defeat in their last match, Bangladesh are coming off a convincing six-wicket win over Ireland. Mashrafe Mortaza and his troops have won all their three league games in the series and so they will be carrying plenty of momentum with them. However, Shakib Al Hasan remains doubtful for this game. The all-rounder is a vital cog in Bangladesh's line-up and his absence will certainly hurt the team's chances. West Indies will not be feeling too confident, especially after being thrashed by Bangladesh both times in this series. But they do have a few match-winners in their side and they will be in with a shout if they play to their potential. Bangladesh might find themselves in a spot of bother if Shakib misses out, but if he doesn't, we expect them to secure another comfortable win and take the series.
