Australia Women vs New Zealand Women Match Prediction, ICC WT20 World Cup
Australia and New Zealand’s meeting at Junction Oval, St Kilda, Melbourne – the final game in Group A of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 – is effectively a quarter-final tie. The winner will join India in advancing to the semi-finals. This must-win tie takes place on March 2 and the live action begins at 15:00 local time.
Both teams lost to India in the group stage, but beat Sri Lanka and most recently Bangladesh to earn four points from their three matches so far. They come into this match on the back of vastly different wins against the Tigers, however.
Alyssa Healy (83) and Beth Mooney (81*) led Australia to 189/1 in their match, before Megan Schutt’s three wickets helped restrict Bangladesh to 103/9 in reply. New Zealand, meanwhile, were carted for 91 and looked on the brink of a shock defeat but Hayley Jensen (3-11) and Leigh Kasperek (3-23) helped bowl Bangladesh out for 74 in 19.5 overs to wrap up an extraordinary win.

Toss Prediction
New Zealand have won the toss in all three matches so far. Australia are due to win this toss then, and could field first given the low scores at St Kilda so far.
Weather Report
Though a little cooler on Monday, St Kilda should otherwise be clear and dry for this match.
Pitch Condition
St. Kilda’s Junction Oval has proved a slow, sluggish wicket so far.

AUSW Team News
Annabel Sutherland replaced Molly Strano last time out and the key selection decision appears to be which of those two faces New Zealand. Sutherland started the tournament against India but missed the win against Sri Lanka.
AUSW Key Players
Alyssa Healy: Scored a half-century in the opening game and then top-scored with 83 from 53 balls – including ten fours and three sixes – last time out.
Beth Mooney: Back to her best last time out, hitting nine fours on her way to an unbeaten 81 from 58 balls at the top of the order.
Megan Schutt: Reiterated her bowling importance with 3-21 last time out. She starred when these teams last met at the T20 World Cup with 3-12 too.
AUSW Team Form
Australia’s home World Cup started with defeat to India – bowled out for 115 in reply to 132/4 despite Alyssa Healy’s 51 from 35 balls. They overcame an early wobble to bounce back against Sri Lanka, however, as Rachael Haynes hit 60 from 47 balls in a five-wicket win chasing 123.

NZW Team News
New Zealand were unchanged last time out, with Rosemary Mair continuing in place of Jess Kerr. The batting collapse may prompt a re-think, but New Zealand’s line-up has generally been settled in recent matches.
NZW Key Players
Sophie Devine: Started the tournament by continuing her stunning batting form, and even with the runs having dried up in the last two matches she bowled an important 1-14 from her four overs last time out
Amelia Kerr: Moved to five wickets in three games when she took 1-10 from her four overs last time out, while she proved she is a genuine all-rounder with her 34* from 19 balls against India.
Leigh Kasperek: Now has 64 wickets in T20 internationals after claiming 3-23 last time out. She was the most expensive New Zealand bowler but she did claim the breakthrough.
NZW Team Form
Sophie Devine’s unbeaten 75 helped New Zealand beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets first up, reaching 131/3 from their 20 overs. They fell just short of chasing 134 to beat India, however – finishing on 130/6 – and then overcame a huge scare to beat Bangladesh last time out.
Bowled out for 91, they looked in big trouble at the turn-around, but Leigh Kasperek took 3-23 and Hayley Jensen 3-11 as they bowled Bangladesh out for 74 in reply.
