Our Pick Australia are favorites to win
Australia will take on India in the final match of the ODI series on Wednesday. The match will be played at the Manuka Oval and is scheduled to begin at 2:40 PM local time.
Two matches, two big losses, India would be very disappointed by the way they’ve played in the previous two matches. The problem for India has been their bowling who’s looked completely off colour.
There’s no doubt the quality of bowlers but somehow, they’ve failed to find the right length and consequently paid the price for the same. The batting has also been fairly disappointing.
The batsmen are getting the starts but they’re not converting them into big scores. Mind you they have some of the biggest names in world cricket in their team.
India have now lost 5 consecutive ODI and somehow need a win to get some confidence back. Canberra might offer some assistance to the Indian bowlers but it’s the batsmen that’ll need to stand up to the occasion.
For Australia, they’ve had two perfect games. The batsmen have got runs, big runs and bowlers have not allowed the Indian batsmen get off their hooks.
David Warner suffered an injury in the last match and will miss the third ODI. Pat Cummins too can be rested from the match.
Overall, Australia looks in top form and will go in this match as big favourites but India is a world class team so don’t completely count them off.
India tour Australia can be watched live on Sony SIX, Sony TEN 1 and Sony TEN 3 in India. National broadcaster Doordarshan will also telecast the ODI and T-20 series from the tour.
Live Streaming: You can enjoy this enthralling series on SonyLiv app along with Airtel Stream and Jio TV platform.
Toss has played a big role in the previous two matches. Virat Kohli would like the toss to go in his favour as chasing once again won’t be easy.
It will be a cloudy day but there is no prediction for rain
The match will be played at the Manuka Oval, Canberra. Both the previous matches were played at the Sydney Cricket Ground and the pitch there was a belter. Canberra too is a very good wicket to bat on but one can expect some assistance for the bowlers as well.
